Terms & Conditions

1. Registration and User Profiles

  • You must create a unique username that will be used for your login. This username cannot be changed after registration.
  • You as well choose a nickname to be visible in your profile.
  • Any registrant may choose to register as a Buddy (offering time and support), as a Peer (looking to connect), or as both. Only Buddies will appear in the public member directory.
  • You may choose to display your contact information (such as WhatsApp number or phone number) publicly on your profile. This is completely optional and at your own discretion.

2. Communication and Privacy

  • The platform provides an internal private messaging system that allows members to contact each other securely.
  • There is also a general community chatroom open to all members.
  • When a Peer contacts a Buddy, the Buddy will be able to view the Peer’s profile information.

3. Community Guidelines

  • The platform is designed with a main focus on the LGBTQIA+ community but is not limited to it. Everyone is welcome.
  • By joining this platform, you agree to:
  • Treat all members with respect and kindness.
  • Refrain from using any offensive, abusive, or discriminatory language or behavior.
  • Not share or distribute personal information of other members without their explicit consent.
  • Not harass, threaten, or harm other members in any way.
  • Use the platform primarily for positive, supportive interactions and not for solicitation or commercial purposes.
  • No sexual content may be published anywhere on the platform, including in chats, profiles, or profile pictures.

4. Content and Conduct

  • You are solely responsible for the content you share through your profile and messages.
  • Any inappropriate content, including hate speech, explicit material, or illegal activities, will not be tolerated and may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

5. Data and Safety

  • Your real name and private registration details will not be publicly visible and will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy.
  • You control what personal contact information you choose to share publicly.
  • We encourage members to use caution when sharing sensitive information and to report any suspicious or abusive behavior immediately.

6. Accountability

Violation of these terms and conditions may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the platform, at the discretion of the community administrators.

7. Changes to Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
